How to Use the Snipping Tool – 2016 Edited

In this tutorial we will discuss how to take a screen shot without downloading and installing any software on computer. Sometimes its becomes a headache for everyone that which software is good for capture a screenshot. screen shot attempt very important role in blogs, forum, social media and website. screen shot gives help to user to understand easily .

Most of people use snapshot for evidence but there is question that which software is good for taking a screen shot ? Infact I was faced this problems for a very long times I used alot of software for that purpose but finally I found the solution.

How to use the snipping tool

free snipping tool is a software which have option in window 7 and windows 8 /8.1 .I dont know is there have any option of this software in window xp because I have never used window xp but Im sure that in window 7 and 8/ 8.1 there is option of taking a screen shot . Yes snipping tools is free and faster its a better way to caputure a snap shot from window , software or from anywhere you want.

Where I found snipping tools:
If you are using windows 7 / 8 you can find it easily . Go to search and type snipping tools.

 

You can capture the following types of snips:

•Free-form Snip. Draw any shape around an object with your finger, mouse, or tablet pen.

•Rectangular Snip. Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.

•Window Snip. Choose a window—like a browser window or a dialog box.

•Full-screen Snip. Capture the entire screen.

Tip:

To add notes to a snip, write or draw on or around the snip.

Capture a snip of a menu

1.After you open Snipping Tool, press Esc, and then open the menu that you want a picture of.

2.Press Ctrl+PrtScn.

3.Tap or click the arrow next to the New button, choose the kind of snip you want, and then pick
the area of the screen that you want to capture.

Save a snip:

1.After you capture a snip, tap or click the Save Snip button.

2.In the Save As dialog box, enter a file name, location, and file type, and then tap or click Save.

 Remove the URL

When you capture a snip from a browser window and save it as an HTML file, the URL appears
below the snip. To remove it:
1.Tap or click Tools, and then tap or click Options.

2.In the Snipping Tools Options dialog box, clear the Include URL below snips (HTML only)
check box, and then tap or click OK.
